BLUF: Dr. Schaffer and his team at Schaffer Dental Excellence are (dental) Tier 1 Operators.Sustains: The facility is spotless, has the latest equipment, provides excellent and caring service (shoutout to Laura, my dental hygienist), and is very well-managed. Scheduling is easy and flexible, they send reminders, and the overall experience is quite personalized. They are not the least expensive, but they are worth it.Improves: Only wish they took Delta HMO coverage (they are PPO oriented).Summary: Our entire family has been patients for years (since our long-time dentist retired). We have all been pleased with the services provided.

I have been going to Bobby since he started the practice. Today I called with a chipped tooth at 8:20, seen at 10 and out with a repaired tooth at 10:30. I did have to sign a waiver if insurance would not pay for full coverage, but that is the norm today with medical charges.

I had been having tooth pain and sensitivity and the dentist was able to get me in quickly and diagnose the issue. Excellent customer service as usual!!

Such an efficient office! We initially chose this practice due to Dr. Schaffer being a licensed GREEN dentist (the only one in San Diego!). Even after moving a bit further away, we wanted to stay patients because of the very friendly & knowledgeable staff, and our positive experiences with everyone each visit (for cleanings, sealants, & SureSmile aligners). Wonderful hygienists. I’m a super fan of Dr. Schaffer and this practice, everyone is very kind and thoughtful. 🩵🩵🩵
